BioBlitz Every summer we hold a BioBlitz to show our visitors how much nature there is to enjoy at Tiny Marsh. Our naturalists and experts lead walks across this 900-hectare provincial wildlife area with trails into forest, over wetlands and through open fields. A BioBlitz is a search for one of each of the maximum number of species - of plants, birds, insects, mammals, amphibians etc.
‘Blitzers’ can come for just one activity, all day, or part of the day. Our children's activities attract more interest every year and we're delighted to help introduce the wonders of nature to the next generation.
KidFest activities run from 9 am to noon, and introduce naturalist skills to young minds. Children of all ages and their parents are invited to participate in a variety of activities at a series of stations.Kids can pond dip, insect appreciate, seed bomb, sock hop, garlic mustard trash and more.
